Do you have a burning topic of conversation relevant to machine learning and learning theory? Guest posts are welcome. They need to be relevant to machine learning, learning theory, or CS research, coherent to me (John Langford), not-too-long, and interesting.
The steps for contributing a post are simple.
- Make an account on hunch.net.
- Send me (jl@hunch.net) an email saying “I want to make a post”, with a topic+description. I’ll bump the privileges on your account.
- Fill in the post. Try to use tags that are relevant and be clear. There is no minimum length. Posts should avoid being more than a page or two long. Email me when done.

I appreciate how clearly this page outlines the contribution process—making it easy for researchers to know exactly what’s expected before reaching out. The emphasis on relevance, brevity, and tag accuracy helps maintain the blog’s focus on solid ML theory without overwhelming readers. One small suggestion would be to add a short FAQ on typical turnaround times after submission, which could further streamline communication. Overall, it’s a valuable invitation for community?driven content.
