Computers4sure sucks

I recently had a very poor shopping experience with http://www.computers4sure.com and want to relate the experience.

I wished to purchase a new hard drive in the 17GB range and first tried to do so in early september 1999 at computers4sure.com.

After waiting a week, I emailed them and asked what the hold up was. The reply:

Hello, 
There seems to be a problem with the order. Please call customer care at

I call and it turns out their order system has mangled my credit card number sometime after giving me a receipt which contained an _unmangled_ partial credit card number. I give them the number and tell them to go ahead with the order. But it takes awhile and I'm impatient so I cancel the order.

        I called.  Apparently something was messed up with your computers -
        they got the credit card number correct except for the last digit.
        The number was correct on my receipt.  I called a week ago and
nothing

So far, I'm not very peeved. computers4sure has been slow and sloppy but done nothing wrong. I proceed to order a hard drive from a different company and it comes in the mail. Then, I get some astonishing news:

The company had went ahead and resent the hard drive, deducting the money from my account. I did not need or want a hard drive so I tried to cancel. I recieve the following reply:

I am sorry but the order has shipped out to you I yesterday. 
Unfortunately, once an item is shipped we cannot stop in transit.  We
apologize for the inconvenience.  The best solution is to refuse the
shipment upon delivery, when this is done email me letting me know what
actions you have taken.  Once we receive the refusal back, a credit will be
processed.  Again, we apologize for the mix up.

At this point, I should have simply called up mastercard and told them to halt payment. But I was naive and tried to cooperate. When the delievery was made a couple days later, I called UPS and told them I rejected it. They came and picked it up. I informed computes4sure of this but have received no reply and no money since.
